Browsing, searching and comparing
You do not need an account. Search and filter selections are processed in your browser. The comparison tool puts yarn identifiers after the # in its URL so that a pair can be bookmarked or shared. That fragment is not sent in a normal HTTP request. The site does not store your search or comparison history in a database or browser storage.
Hosting and technical information
Cloudflare delivers the site. Website requests necessarily disclose technical information such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time to the hosting provider. Cloudflare may process request logs and security information to operate and protect its service. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Skeinspan currently loads no advertising scripts, audience analytics or tracking pixels, and sets no application cookies. Fonts and graphics are served with the site. Hosting security features may process information independently of the application. If display advertising is introduced, this notice and any required consent or opt-out controls will be updated before those scripts are activated.
Retailer and manufacturer links
Links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. They are ordinary links without affiliate commission tracking. When you follow a link, your browser communicates with that website. Check its policy before providing personal information or placing an order.
Email corrections
If you contact us, your email address and message are processed by our email service so that we can review and respond. Do not include sensitive information. We use corrections to maintain the directory; sending a correction does not subscribe you to marketing. We keep correspondence while it is needed to resolve the matter and maintain an appropriate correction record. You may request deletion of your correspondence.
